DUF supports partnership projects with youth associations in Denmark and the MENA-region (Middle East and North Africa).
Coexistence, dialogue and respect are important words concerning relations between Europe and the MENA-region.
This issue is growing in Scandinavia and especially in Denmark. At the Danish Youth Council we are working to build dialogue among children and young people from Denmark and the MENA-region through partnership programs and dialogue initiatives.

Since 2005 DUF has been working on a pilot programme for children and youth from Denmark and the MENA-region.
Our work with children and youth from the MENA-region is getting financial support from The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
DUF's vision is to enhance and develop dialogue and to promote basic freedom rights with partners from the MENA-region.

DUF has supported more than 50 projects during 2006 and 2007.
The projects involve youth from Denmark and the MENA-region. The activities cover political seminars, theater, promotion of human rights and cultural exchanges.
