The overall objective of DUFs international commitment is to improve the dialogue between young people in Denmark and their counterparts all over the world.

DUF works on three levels:

Political lobbying - ensuring that children and young people are highly prioritised in Danish foreign policy.

Information - informing young people in Denmark about living conditions and social developments in countries around the world.

Involvement - ensuring our member organisations the best possible conditions to get involved in international project work.

Political developments at the European level play a larger and larger role for the the lives of young people.

The Project Pool is DUF's development aid to projects involving Danish youth organizations and organizations in development countries. All DUF's members can apply for grants from the pool.

That DUF eagerly supports its member organisations in their endevours to develop partnerships with organisations outside Denmark.

If a member organisation require assistance on fundraising, advice on international projects or other questions, they can contact our staff.

Furthermore, DUF administers funds supporting projects between member organisations and their international partners as well as exchange of youth leaders.
