Personal data at DUF's events

When you register through Nemtilmeld for each event, DUF collects and processes a range of information about you (name, address, phone number, membership of associations, etc.). The purpose is for DUF to hold the course/event, and the legal basis for this is the agreement for your participation. The information is stored for up to 3 months after the activity has been held. You can always request DUF for insight, correction or deletion of the collected personal information. Write to duf@duf.dk or call 3929 8888. You can also file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency regarding DUF’s handling of your data, see more at www.datatilsynet.dk.

DUF often takes pictures at events and courses, which DUF uses for marketing materials, such as on the website, Facebook, Instagram, and possibly various brochures and leaflets. You will always be asked for your consent for this at the individual event before the photographer takes pictures or videos – so you have the opportunity to opt out. Pictures with offensive content are never used. You can always withdraw your consent afterwards – write to duf@duf.dk or call 3929 8888, after which DUF will remove pictures and videos from the website and social media as soon as possible. However, please note that consent cannot be withdrawn for already distributed printed materials.

Sometimes, DUF forwards participant lists to other participants containing:

  • The name of the participant
  • The participant’s workplace
  • The participant’s email address
  • The participant’s association membership

If you do not wish to be included in such a participant list, you must inform DUF at least 14 days before the start of the event at duf@duf.dk.
