Together for young people, democracy, and committed communities
DUF – The Danish Youth Council is an umbrella and advocacy organization for 78 purpose-driven and socially engaged children’s and youth organizations that work to promote democratic communities for children and young people in organizational life.
DUF is the unifying voice of the broad Danish youth. Outwardly, we represent the broad youth, but we gather and support children and young people in the voluntary organizational world, where the core is democratic organization and committed communities.
Our goal is to ensure that organizational life has the best conditions to grow and be strengthened, so that more children and young people can become part of a voluntary community where people come together around a shared purpose.
